How to backup your Mac

Hi remoters,

Todays topic will be about How to backup your Mac.

1. Purchase an external hard drive with a large storage capacity. In my case I bought a 2 TB Time Capsule (here you have the Apple link)

2. Launch the Time Machine application and select your disk. This handy and easy-to-use backup utility is included with Mac OS X. If Time Machine doesn’t automatically launch, the utility can be found in System Preferences and you can schedule your backups.

5

3. Turn Time Machine on. The backup utility will begin automatically backing up your Mac. Allow plenty of time for the initial back up (possibly overnight), as it may take awhile depending on the amount of data you have.

4. !!!! Don t backup unuseful things and start your backup now!!!!!
