iOS 9.1

iOS 9.1 Public Beta

Hi remoters,

iOS 9.0 may not yet be available to the public, but Apple is already seeding the next version of the mobile operating system to testers. Yesterday developers got their hands on the first version of iOS 9.1, and today the same has been made available for users on the public iOS beta.

To download the new build, which includes support for new emoji characters, users can head over to the Apple Beta website and enroll their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. After a reboot, iOS 9.1 should show up under the Software Update tab in the Settings app.

Thus far there haven’t been a whole lot of changes in the new build, though some users are reporting much better performance over the GM build of iOS 9. There are also new APIs for developers building iPhone 6s apps with 3D Touch and Live Photos, but little else seems to have changed.

Macbook-Air-2015-retina

New Macbook Pro

Hi remoters,

Apple unveils smallest and lightest Macbook everis with 12- inch Retina Display.

MacBook-640x353

Today Apple has unveiled its reinvented MacBook, a 12-inch model that’s thinner and lighter than any machine the company has made before. The all-new unibody structure has no internal fan for the first time ever, and it contains the smallest and densest logic board the company has manufactured en masse–one that’s 67 percent smaller than the one in the 11-inch MacBook Air. However, the new MacBook also comes with an unusual compromise: a single, new USB-C connector that supports everything from charging to Ethernet and connecting peripherals.

Force-Touch

More on that in a moment — first, let’s go through the specifics. The new MacBook is just 13.1mm thick, and weighs just two pounds — almost a pound lighter than the 13-inch MacBook Air, and about six ounces lighter than the 11-inch model. The new 12-inch Retina display features 2,304 by 1,440 pixels, and is just 0.88mm thick. Each pixel now consumes 30 percent less energy than before.

The MacBook has a new, flatter-style keyboard with a revised mechanism that enables more even key presses, and letting it “be thinner, and more precise in its illumination,”

Here you have a short video with the new Macbook

This one will be impressive,

iOS 8.3

Apple Now Lets Users Download iOS Beta

Hi remoters,

Apple  is now inviting users to test iOS software updates before public releases, starting with the third beta of iOS 8.3. To download iOS 8.3, you will have to register your account as a software tester at the Apple Seed website. Not everyone will see the iOS beta program now because it seems to be rolling out to the users that were part of the ”OS X Beta Program” first.

If you have been invited to the iOS beta program, you will be asked to back up your iPhone to iTunes and log in with your Apple ID. After that, you will have to opt in for the iOS beta program and download a configuration profile. iOS 8.3 beta will appear as a software update in the Settings app after downloading the configuration profile.

The public release date of iOS 8.3 is unknown, but it may be a while because Apple released iOS 8.2 three days ago. If you encounter any issues while using iOS 8.3 beta, then you will be able to restore your device using a saved iTunes backup and you should file a report in the Feedback Assistant App.

You just have to sign up to the Apple Beta Software Program. Click here.

Here  you have a brief description of iOS 8.3 Beta

About iOS 8.3 Beta

The iOS 8.3 Beta includes improved performance, increased stability, bug fixes, and a redesigned Emoji keyboard. This release also supports additional language and country support for Siri: English (India, New Zealand), Danish (Denmark), Dutch (Netherlands), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian (Russia), Swedish (Sweden), Thai (Thailand), Turkish (Turkey).
Before you install the iOS Beta, please be sure to back up your device with the instructions provided. This is beta software that is still in development, which means some applications and services may not work as expected.

Latest Apple TV Update

Hi remoters,

Apple TV updated Wednesday morning, giving the main screen a whole new look and adding Beats Music as a “channel.”

The icons for Music, Computers and TV Shows all have a new, almost pastel look, while all the icons seem a bit flatter, like iOS 8. The fonts seem thinner, as well, reflecting the overall new design ethos of iOS and OS X.

You can also connect to iCloud Photo and Family Sharing options, new iOS 8 features that also went live today for iPhone and iPad devices.

Apple TV has been a “hobby” for the Cupertino company since the original hard-drive-based devices came out in 2007. With the release of two generations since then, the hobby has become a billion dollar business for Apple. As a third leg in the Apple home ecosystem, Apple TV — or the technology behind it, at least — is an important business as well.

The new update brings the Apple TV look and feel up to date with the current iOS and OS X visual changes, and now connects to several key systems behind the scenes as well, like Family Sharing and iCloud Photos.

If you own a third generation Apple TV (the black hockey puck) or higher, you should be able to find the update in the General > Software Updates settings.
